Results: Port Macquarie, Subic Bay and Gold Coast

We had a great weekend of racing starting on Friday at the Oceania Super Sprint Championships with Oli Moxon making the Elite Mens B Final as a junior in a tough field.

Moving to Saturday over in Subic Bay, Philippines with our U23’s and Junior Elite. Ty Davis had a solid outing backing up from National Champs 2 weeks prior. The other boys raced as hard as possible. Darcy and Jack raced to potential with great outings and fast runs. Unfortunately Nick was a DNF through sickness. Pretty good outcomes considering the temperature of the day and the difficulty of racing internationally.

Then on Sunday we had the Port Macquarie full and half Ironman. In the 70.3 Eleanor Meyer had a ripper day and Carolyn Tonelli managed to come away with a top 10 despite suffering through illness. Then to the Ironman with Tynan Coles having a PB day including a solid 3:29 marathon. Mel Wilson starred with a third in her age group running herself from sixth off the bike onto the podium. First timers Chris Bloder and Aaron Borg had fantastic days out and Paul Vallay also had a ripper coming 9th in his age group.

Congratulations all!
