The weekend provided perfect racing conditions in Geelong, setting the stage for some great performances from our squad. The crew delivered strong results across the board with several athletes securing top 10 finishes!
A special mention to Tamara Joyner and Nathan Kelly who made their debut in the 70.3 distance. Both athletes put together exceptional races that set a strong foundation for their long course futures.
Meanwhile at the final 2XU Triathlon Series race, Mia delivered a dominant performance in the Olympic Distance event, racing solo and claiming both the elite and overall win. Ethan demonstrated his exceptional running ability, surging to a second place finish in the elite field. Ryan Took rounded out a consistent season with another strong race, wrapping up his series on a high note.
Our focus now shifts to preparing for Cairns Ironman and 70.3 in 12 weeks time. The momentum from this weekend’s results is great motivation as we build towards another successful showing.
